Three middle aged friends reunite at their favorite fishing spot. What should be a peaceful reunion turns into "The Fishermen VS. The Elks". . . Elks Club, that is. Watch this hilarious array of Newport Beach characters live their lives AT THE ARCHES

SETTING: Newport Beach, CA
CAST SIZE: Variety of roles for men and women, all ages
There is no cast breakdown, as the playwright/director would like all types to audition
 
AT THE ARCHES is a contemporary comedy set in Newport Beach, California. It has lots of roles for both men and women. The Director, Terry McNicol, is seeking who will trust him, as a director, completely.
 
Please prepare a memorized 2-3 minute piece from any SHAKESPEARE to be presented at auditions. There will also be cold readings from the script at auditions.
 
This is a great opportunity to work with the accomplished local playwright and director, Terry McNicol.
 
Audition requirements: 
Dress to move and DO NOT be late as the doors will be locked once auditions begin.

After a long civil war between the royal family of York and the royal family of Lancaster, England enjoys a period of peace under King Edward IV and the victorious Yorks. But Edward’s younger brother, Richard, resents Edward’s power and the happiness of those around him. Malicious, power-hungry, and bitter about his physical deformity, Richard begins to aspire secretly to the throne—and decides to kill anyone he has to in order to become king.

A troubled Southern California family greets a new arrival to their neighborhood—a charming and gentle graduate student from Borneo who also happens to be a cannibal. Things get a bit complicated when it becomes apparent that old habits are hard to break, even in a new country.
